Soundboards & Professional Audio
If your venue has a sound board or distributed audio system, you can route SignPresenter's audio out separately from the video signal. The cleanest way is an HDMI ARC audio extractor — about $16 and easy to install.
Recommended hardware
The simplest approach we've found is the HDMI ARC Audio Extractor. Plug your Fire Stick into one side, your TV into the other, and route the audio out to your sound board or amp.
Once it's wired in, set your Fire Stick output to stereo (some sound boards don't accept multi-channel surround). Here's a quick walkthrough:
Using a Fire Stick with SDI / BlackMagic devices
If you're feeding the SignPresenter signal into broadcast or video-production equipment (BlackMagic SDI converters, switchers, etc.), HDCP on the Fire Stick's HDMI output can block the signal. Run the Fire Stick through an HDMI splitter that strips HDCP — this one works well.
