Vertical Screen Setup

Setting up a vertical (portrait) screen takes less than 30 seconds. Two settings — rotation and playlist — and a quick app restart.

Step 1: Change the screen rotation​

  1. Go to the Screens tab (Step 3).
  2. Select First Screen from the left sidebar.
  3. Find the Rotation dropdown.
  4. Select 90 — Vertical (or 270 — Vertical depending on which way the TV is mounted).
  5. Click Save.

Step 2: Switch to a vertical playlist​

  1. Scroll down to the Playlist section.
  2. Select your vertical (9:16) playlist from the dropdown.
  3. Remove any horizontal playlists if needed.
  4. Click Save.

Step 3: Reload the app on your device​

For the rotation change to take effect:

  1. On your Fire Stick or Android device, press the Home button.
  2. Open the SignPresenter app again.
  3. Your screen now displays in vertical mode.

Rotation options​

  • 0 — Horizontal — Standard landscape
  • 90 — Vertical — Portrait, rotated 90° clockwise
  • 180 — Horizontal — Upside-down landscape
  • 270 — Vertical — Portrait, rotated 90° counter-clockwise

After changing rotation settings, you must close and reopen the SignPresenter app for changes to take effect.
