Stuck on "Loading Instructions…"

If SignPresenter is stuck on a screen that says Loading Instructions…, it's almost always an IP-address conflict on the Fire Stick. The fix is a quick reboot.

Quick fix: unplug and plug back in

The fastest way to reboot a Fire Stick is to pull the power cable, wait a few seconds, and plug it back in. Once it boots, SignPresenter should resume normally.

Reboot via the menu

If unplugging isn't easy:

  1. Press Home on the Fire Stick remote.

  2. Open Settings.

  3. Navigate to My FireTV and press the center button.

  4. Select Restart.

  5. Confirm by selecting Restart once more.

After the reboot

The Fire Stick should restart and launch SignPresenter automatically. If SignPresenter doesn't launch within 2 minutes, find the app on the home screen and select it.

Still stuck?

If a reboot doesn't help:

  1. Check your internet connection — SignPresenter needs WiFi to fetch instructions.
  2. Try clearing the cache.
  3. Open a support ticket and we'll dig in.
