PowerPoint and Keynote Slideshows

The Slideshow playlist type makes it easy to bring an existing PowerPoint or Keynote deck into SignPresenter. Convert your slides to images, upload them all at once, and you have a working signage rotation in minutes.

Step 1: Create the Slideshow playlist

  1. Sign in to SignPresenter and go to Step 2: Playlists.
  2. Choose Horizontal 16:9.
  3. Scroll down and click Slideshow. The Edit Playlist screen opens.
  4. Name your playlist.

Step 2: Convert your slides to JPEG

PowerPoint and Keynote slides need to be exported as images:

Both tools let you export your whole deck as a folder of JPEG or PNG files.

Step 3: Upload the images

  1. Back in the SignPresenter Edit Playlist screen, click Upload.
  2. Highlight all the exported images.
  3. Click Save to start the upload.
  4. After saving, you're returned to the Playlist screen.

Step 4: Reorder if needed

  1. Click your slideshow on the left to reopen the Edit Playlist screen.
  2. Drag the slides into the order you want.
  3. Click Save.

Step 5: Add to a screen

  1. Go to Step 3: Screens and select the screen.
  2. Add the slideshow to the Playlists box, or pick it from the right-hand selection panel.

Mixing slideshows with other content

You can build a wrapper playlist that interleaves your slideshow with other messages:

  1. Create a new playlist with Step 2: Playlists → Create a New Custom Playlist.
  2. Add your slideshow from Available Content.
  3. Click the gear icon on the slideshow entry to play only specific slides — for example, slides 1–2.
  4. Add other messages between sections.
  5. Add the slideshow again with a different range — slides 3–4 — to continue mid-deck.
  6. Save.

This is how you'd run "intro slides → announcement → middle slides → weather → final slides" without re-exporting the deck.
